DAY 6 – CREATE YOUR RESULTS, CREATE YOUR FUTURE!

Today, we are going to look at one of the most important parts, if not the most important part, of the process.

Lesson 6

Today you will determine YOUR WHY.

We are going to give you a template to create your mission statement and help you find your why.

The purpose of finding YOUR WHY is to create a passionate, direct reason for you to accomplish what ever you are looking to achieve in your life.

You may have a lot a different “whys” and your direction may change. If your mission is to create wealth to take care of your family, what is your “Why”? Your “Why” is your family.

In order to create a mission statement that is on purpose and true to your desires, your reason for accomplishing your mission must be bigger than you.

Make no mistake you will stumble and may even fall, but knowing your “why” will give you the strength to get up, stand tall, and continue on your journey.

You have already made changes in your life that will last forever; today you will insert the final piece- YOUR MISSION STATEMENT.

By knowing and standing by your mission statement, you control your results. Hold fast to your dreams and stay the course.

To achieve the results you desire it is not necessary you enjoy the process. It is only important that you continue the process with your eyes on the outcome. An athlete does not enjoy the pain of training; and athlete enjoys the results of having trained. You must focus on the results. Create your results now, create your future today!

Remember, average people compare themselves to other people. That is why they are average. You only need to compare yourself to your potential!. You are not average. Any adversity is only preparation for greatness.

Exercise:

DAY 5 – SO, WHAT DO YOU WANT?

How exciting is it to be in control of your life and actions? Today we will continue to develop the NEW YOU! As you continue on your journey, utilize the previous lessons to build one upon the other.

Lesson 5

In today’s lesson, we are looking at the ability to identify what you desire. By identifying what you desire you can focus your attention on “What You Want”.

Every thought you have is either negative or positive. What a remarkable statement!

Think about that for a second. Every word you SAY or THINK is either NEGATIVE or POSITIVE!

Which are you doing at all times? Today you are going to learn how to make “What you want” match your thoughts!

It is vital to your success to briefly observe the negative thoughts you have and identify them as something you don’t want. By doing so, you become clearer about “WHAT YOU DO WANT”(POSITIVE THOUGHTS). Observing this contrast is essential because it helps you become clear about what you do want. You are experiencing clarity when ever you observe contrast in your life. These are small steps, which will put your journey on the right path.

A wise man once said “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Knowing this to be true you are taking your first steps today. You are now charting your course and your destiny will be assured.

Instead of saying what you don’t want; make the decision today, to say, “What do I want”.

Exercise:

First thing we need to do is take a minute and write down all of the things where you feel unsatisfied. Utilize the spaces provided below.

Examples: I can’t close a sale, I don’t have enough money, I wish I was in better shape, I don’t have enough time.

Now, on the other side of the page, replace your negative statement with a positive statement?

Examples: I can close a sale, I will make a way to get the money, I will exercise everyday, I will make the time.

DAY 4 – HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE

Over the past few days we have given you the tools for you to utilize to become successful in any area of your life. Remember, this is about YOU and the transformation of YOU getting the results you desire.

Lesson 4

Over the last 3 days we have discussed being grateful, the power of forgiveness and the ability to take action. We have determined in the previous lessons that your thoughts create your decisions which determine your actions and ultimately create the results you obtain in your life.

We are looking for the results that will ultimately make us happy. True happiness is a direct result of being grateful. You now understand that happiness is a choice!

Happiness is the end result of certain thoughts and activities, which actually bring out a chemical reaction in your body. This reaction results in euphoria, which, while elusive to some, is totally under your control. You will now make your smile your calling card. It is the strongest weapon you posses. Your smile will forge bonds, break ice, and calm storms. You must use your smile constantly!! You must always smile first that will tell everyone you come into contact with what you expect in return.

When you choose to smile, you become a master of your emotions and the true possessor of a grateful spirit.

MAKING THE CHOICE

Have you ever gone to the bank to make a deposit and the teller was having a bad day or eaten at a restaurant and the waitress wasn’t friendly. Imagine if there was a way for you to change there attitude by not saying a word. When we say happiness can be YOURS, we are also giving you the ability to give happiness to OTHERS.

Remember happiness is a choice! You can determine each moment of each day, whether you want to be happy or not. Remember back to a specific time where you just were not happy and the affect of a hello, a how are you, or even a simple smile changed the way you felt. Imagine that you have the possibility to help change others, by choosing your own happiness.

Exercise:

Today’s exercise will be very simple, but a very effective way to change your outlook and the outlook of others.

Today greet everyone with a sincere smile. Just simply smile while you talk to everyone, whether face to face or on the phone. Smiles can be very contagious, they can affect your bio chemistry, and they can have a lasting affect not only on you but all the people around you. Smiling will change your world in an instant.

This may seem like a very simple step to this course, and you’re right, it is. Just take a quick minute to write down what experiences you may have had through out the day with people, just by smiling. How did this affect you and your ability to get things done with this person?

DAY 3 – YOUR ACTION CREATES YOUR RESULTS

Welcome to day 3 of your seven day journey! I hope you have enjoyed the last few days. Today we will discuss how to take action on the decisions we have made.

Lesson 3

Let me ask you a question….

Have you ever had an idea that you thought would be great, maybe even help someone, make a product better, or just simply add value to your life? Why did it not get done? You can try and blame it on lack of money or lack of time; it is simply LACK OF ACTION.

As of today, you are a person of action ready to create a new future by creating a new you. No longer dwelling in the past or moaning over lost opportunities. You can do nothing about the past. Your future is now! It is time to grasp it with both hands and take action!

When faced with the choice of doing nothing or doing something. You must ALWAYS choose to ACT! You do not have the ability to make the right decision, but you do have the ability to make a decision and then make it right!

If a person is not willing to work, he or she can find endless excuses to avoid it. But laziness is more dangerous than a lion. The less you the do, the less you want to do, and the more useless you become. To overcome laziness, take a few small steps towards change. Today you will take action.

1. Set a concrete, realistic goal.
2. Figure out the steps needed to reach the goal
3. Follow the steps- TAKE ACTION

Think about how taking a small action today can change your results immediately. Over the past few lessons we have learned to change our thoughts in order to change our decisions. Today we will take actions on our new decisions. Today you will set and achieve your goal.

Contact 1 or more people that have made a difference in your life and let them know how much you appreciated their actions. This will result in a win-win situation for you and the person you contacted. Your deadline for doing this will be by the end of today.

Below you will write the name of the person you are contacting and how they made a difference in your life. (This may be a co-worker, old friend, family member, or someone you just met yesterday.)

Tulislah Statemen Misi Pribadi

Buatlah dokumen yang menguraikan tujuan hidup anda. Siapa anda? Nilai-nilai yang anda miliki. Bagaimana anda memanfaatkan waktu untuk membuat hidup anda menjadi bermakna? Anggap bahwa tidak ada kuasa Tuhan atas hidup anda, karena andalah yang menentukan masa depan anda. Anda tidak harus mendengarkan mereka yang berkata bahwa anda terlalu tua, terlalu muda, terlalu miskin, terlalu tidak menarik, terlalu tidak berpendidikan atau punya warna kulit yang salah, jenis kelamin atau kewarganegaraan yang berbeda. Orang-orang tersebut tidak berbicara seperti layaknya mereka yang berpedoman pada Prinsip-Prinsip Bertindak.

Ketika anda membaca bacaan yang memberi inspirasi di buku lain, majalah atau surat kabar, tulislah atau buatlah kliping. Simpan semuanya di satu folder atau kotak. Bacaan-bacaan tersebut akan berfungsi sebagai sumber motivasi cadangan dan akan membantu anda menciptakan statemen misi pribadi.

Statemen misi anda harus dalam bentuk beberapa kalimat atau paragrap. Rujuklah statemen misi anda secara periodik dan jangan takut untuk mengubahnya seiring dengan semakin tumbuhnya anda. Statemen misi akan membantu anda menciptakan sebuah pondasi dimana disitulah nanti anda dapat membangun mimpi-mimpi dan tujuan-tujuan anda, dan dari situlah akan lahir sasaran-sasaran anda dan daftar hal-hal yang harus anda kerjakan setiap hari.

Bagi dan Taklukkan

Sebuah persamaan umum diantara orang-orang yang berhasil adalah bahwa mereka terfokus pada pencapaian sasaran-sasaran yang perlu ditangani segera. Pisahkan antara yang penting dan mendesak dan sisihkan waktu anda untuk keduanya. Rincilah tugas-tugas besar menjadi serangkaian tugas-tugas kecil dan mulailah bertindak. Disaat saat awal, jangan terlalu memikirkan bagaimana anda bisa mencapai tujuan-tujuan anda. Dengan komitmen, latihan dan kesabaran, cara-cara tersebut akan datang dengan sendirinya. Jawaban akan tampak saat fakta-fakta telah dikumpulkan. Tujuan anda akan berubah menjadi serangkaian sasaran-sasaran yang berorientasi tindakan, yang akan menjadi daftar hal-hal yang perlu dikerjakan.

Sekarang buatlah prioritas. Jika anda tidak membuat prioritas kegiatan harian anda, maka seluruh kegiatan anda akan mempunyai derajat kepentingan yang sama. Apakah sesuatu telah dikerjakan atau belum jadi bukan masalah lagi bagi anda. Anda ingin kegiatan-kegiatan anda menjadi penting dan mempunyai tujuan yang terdefinisikan dengan jelas. Tulislah daftar kegiatan-kegiatan yang harus anda kerjakan setiap hari (to-do list). Prioritaskan hal tersebut. Kerjakan minimal satu dari tujuan-tujuan harian anda.. Disetiap akhir hari, anda akan bisa rileks dan bersenang-senang atas prestasi anda.

Tentukan Tujuan
Jika anda tidak membentuk hidup anda, maka keadaan yang akan membentuknya. Anda harus bekerja, berkorban, berinvestasi dan tekun untuk mendapatkan hasil-hasil yang anda inginkan. Pilihlah dengan hati-hati hasil yang anda inginkan. Anda tidak bisa memulai rencana anda sampai anda tahu kemana anda ingin pergi.

Anda adalah pencipta bentuk anda sendiri. Sudahkah orang lain melakukan sesuatu yang ingin anda lakukan? Pelajari mereka dan kerjakan apa yang telah mereka kerjakan. Mulai dari mana saja, kapan saja dan tekunlah melakukannya. Jangan khawatirkan pikiran orang lain tentang apa yang bisa dan tidak bisa anda lakukan. Percayalah pada diri anda sendiri dan kemampuan anda. Hadapi situasi yang ada dengan kepercayaan diri. Hidup adalah milik anda untuk anda jalani; hari demi hari, tahap demi tahap.

Tulislah tujuan-tujuan anda. Hanya tiga persen orang yang menuliskan tujuan-tujuannya dan hanya satu persen yang mengkaji ulang tujuan-tujuan tertulis tersebut setiap hari. Beradalah diantara kelompok elit yang berjumlah satu persen tersebut. Visualisasikan pencapaian tujuan-tujuan anda sesering mungkin. Tujuan adalah mimpi yang dilengkapi dengan tanggal. Anda hanya akan menjadi sebesar dan sebahagia tujuan yang anda pilih.
